“I always knew I wanted my studio to be ‘one-trainer-at-a-time’, no matter what my peers were doing or suggesting.”

The events of 2001 were life-changing for most of us and we all have our stories. For me, I had been traveling 75-90% as a Clinical Research Associate working on Oncology protocols. I had also been teaching part time group exercise classes since 1996 at the YMCA. So, with travel becoming more challenging, along with having a new baby at home, I decided to transition exclusively to a fitness career.

In 2008, I opened a small studio in Pike Creek, Delaware, and clients who I had been seeing in their homes, at the gym, and in my personal studio at home, were excited to join me. They loved how they were still alone or with their training partner(s) along with their trainer monitoring their exercise and progress. I’ve always felt it’s the best way to provide complete attention, customized programming, and a safe, welcoming environment. The Greenville, Delaware, studio opened in 2009. Once we were in a single Greenville location, offering two separate training studios operating simultaneously, we closed Pike Creek to focus on the single location.

I only hire staff who are committed to the same vision for successful training and who genuinely care about the people they serve. Diana Vitcusky, Adrienne Johnson and Gabi Papa are phenomenal, and we all work together to create a fun, supportive atmosphere not only for you … our wonderful clients … but also for each other.

Here at PhysiCore, we continue to educate ourselves and share what we learn. It’s important not to become complacent or arrogant while we’re trying to help people feel and move better. Our clients are referred to us from massage therapists, physician’s offices, physical therapists, current and even previous clients because they are confident knowing their patients, friends and family members will be safe and successful with our team.

We hope to meet you soon!
